ABOUT ME
I have a passion bordering on obsession for music production spanning more than a decade. From audio recording to editing, mixing to production techniques, spanning a broad range of musical genres from emo and indie to funk and metal.
I graduated top of my class with a BSc (Hons) in Music Technology and Audio Production from the University of Kent and and am currently completing a Masters in Music Performance (MMus) at ICMP – the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, London.

“Paper Boats”
Madishu & David Theni
The artists wanted a relatively relaxed vibe that allowed a build. I used a mix of vintage and modern style channel strips (and a healthy dose of tape saturation) while being careful with compression in the bass frequencies so that final drop hits as hard as it should.
“Garden”
Dan Quinn
This track has a really nice chill pop vibe so we wanted to compliment that by making it sound as full as possible without being unnecessarily loud. With some careful EQing I was able to clean up the low and high-end giving it a nice crisp feel without losing weight.
“Still”
Madishu & David Theni
“Still” has such an intimate and warm feel that is integral to the track. In order to enhance this sense of intimacy, I had to tread a fine line to preserve the delicate balance between the intimate vocals, the warmth of the piano and backing vocals.

SESSION WORK
I offer session guitar work and have experience in a range of styles from Metal to Funk, Indie and Pop.
Having cut my teeth playing in punk bands from the age of 12, I have since played not only with my own bands, but done diverse session work with a variety of bands/artists.
Much as I love playing my own work, I find the unique challenge of session work thrilling. Session work means sublimating your ego, working with the songwriter/artist, delivering a tight, disciplined performace, and focusing entirely on what the track requires. I pride myself on being flexible, technically accomplished, creative and collaborative.
